Understanding Communication on Social Media for Publics and Brands During Crises: An Analysis of Crisis Communication During COVID-19
At Wake Forest University, I wrote an honors communication thesis on crisis communication during the coronavirus pandemic. My thesis analyzed the creative ways that the general public and organizations used social media at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, I examined how various actors communicated during previous crises and how their responses evolved to the specific and unprecedented circumstances faced today.
